Start of my day

Rudy and Rosie and I went out back to enjoy my morning tea and take in the beauty and peace of our surroundings.



The gold finch joined us for a bit of breakfast.



These sandhill crane dropped in for an unexpected visit, they usually drop by in the evenings.

What is it ?

I found this insect on my doorbell. Haven't been able to identify it yet, soooo it's in my freezer now along with a few other insects.

the swallows have invaded

Mr. and Mrs. took a time out from building their nest and had a noisy disagreement. They could not agree on where to put the front door. She's not talking to him now.




Her nest looks like it's made of globs of cement.
